This is an image of a week from an Ottoman calendar dated to 1906. It notably gives the dates in the hicri, rumi, and miladi dating systems that were all in use in the empire at that time. Thus, the date May 25 conforming to dating conventions in Europe appears as the 1st of Rebiulahir or the 12 of Mayıs. For a useful date converter that can work with these three different systems, click here.
The calendar also contains a number of purportedly important days. These include the birthday of the King of Saxony (May 25), the coronation of the Russian Emperor (May 27), the time for shearing sheep (May 28) and the coming of the end of May storm known as kabak meltemi, which we can intentionally humorously translate as "zucchini breeze".
